This boxed set of Alice in Wonderland cups and saucers is by Paul Cardew. The hinged box contains 2 saucers and 2 cups both with designs from Alice in Wonderland. the Plates feature the text "O Mouse, Do you know the way out of this pool? I am very tired of swimming about here, O Mouse!". The cups have a swirl of text on the inside that reads "I wish I hadn't cried so much! said Alice, as she swam about trying to find her way out." Dated 2010.
The cups and plates appear to be unused and are in excellent condition. The box is also in very good condition with minor bowing on the front and back from age.
