We have 2 (sold separately) beautiful Thos. Hughes and Sons Ltd. red/pink and white/Ivory “Avon Cottage” transferware Serving bowls. Printed on the back "warranted under glaze print Longport Staffordshire England". The pattern depicts a picturesque English countryside scene with a quaint cottage, surrounded by trees and flowers. The soft red color of the design contrasts beautifully with the cream-colored background.
