The book tells the story of an orphan with no hint of his identity, Crispin moves in with the Bernard family, where he feels strongly at home in the shadow of an old English castle and discovers his true identity.
This book is in excellent condition. The dust jacket has wear and some tears along the edges and spine. There are a few minor stains on the cover. There is an inscription on the inside front cover that has been marked thru with a marker. The back page has a stamp from the original retail outlet, there are no other markings in the book. Pages are bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces.
